How to review and approve your monthly content

Every month, Scowty writes content for your business: blog posts for your website and short posts for your Google Business Profile. Nothing goes on your website until you approve it. You are always the last word.

Here's the whole flow, start to finish.

1. Open your content studio

Click the button in your monthly content email, or:

Go to scowty.com and click Sign in
Enter the email address your Scowty account uses — there's no password;

we email you a sign-in link. Click it.

Click SEO in the dashboard menu, then Open your content studio

2. Read each piece

Your newest content is at the top. Click a piece to read the whole thing. Everything is written in your brand voice, but you know your business best — read it the way your customers would.

3. Approve it, or edit it first

Happy with it? Click Approve.
Want changes? Click Edit (the pencil), change anything you like —

a sentence, a price, a phrase that doesn't sound like you — then Approve.

4. Publish blog posts to your website

After you approve a blog post, a Publish button appears. Click it and the post goes live on your website's blog automatically — you can go look at it right away. If you later edit a published post, click Publish update to put the new version live at the same address.

If your website isn't connected for one-click publishing yet, the Publish button will say so — the post text is always yours to copy onto your site either way.

5. Google Business posts are copy-paste

Posts labeled Google Business Profile post don't go on your website. They're written for your profile on Google — the panel that shows when someone searches your business name.

Go to business.google.com and sign in
Click Add update, paste, and post

What happens if I do nothing?

Nothing. The content sits safely in your studio as a draft, and your website doesn't change. That's the point of the approval step — but it also means the content only helps you once it's live, so a few minutes each month keeps things moving.
