How to cancel your subscription
Cancel any time. No questions, no clawback fee.
How
Click Billing in your dashboard header, or go straight to your plan page. Click Cancel my plan, then confirm. That's the whole thing. No fees, no phone call, no retention maze.
Changed your mind before the period ends? The same page shows Keep my plan, which turns auto-renew back on.
Prefer a person? Click Talk to Scowty on any page and ask for a human, or email hello@scowty.com from your account email. Telling us why is optional. It helps us improve, but it's not required.
What happens after you cancel
Your subscription ends at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access through that period. Audits and content generation continue until the period ends.
Everything we've ever generated for you is yours to keep: blog posts, Google Business posts, schema code, brand kit, logo files, and reports. We don't take any of it back.
Download what you want before you cancel. Once your plan lapses, the SEO section of your dashboard closes, so the easiest route to your content library is gone even though the content itself is still there. If you've already cancelled and need something, email hello@scowty.com and we'll get it to you.
One thing to know: once your subscription lapses, your next download of the brand kit or a logo makes it final and closes that tool for new versions. Active subscribers are exempt. If you want to generate more versions, do it before you cancel.
Your account isn't wiped the moment you cancel. If you want your data deleted or exported, ask us and we'll handle it — see our Privacy Policy for how we treat your information after an account closes.
What if you change your mind
Email hello@scowty.com and we'll reactivate your account. Nothing is deleted on a timer, so your brand, logos, site, and past content are almost certainly still there — we'll confirm what we have before you resubscribe.
What about one-time builds
One-time builds (brand story at $99, brand and website at $499, or brand, website, plus 3 months of the full SEO plan at $549) are refundable in full within 30 days of payment. After 30 days they're non-refundable, but you keep everything we built regardless of subscription status.
If Scowty built and hosts your website, hosting is billed separately from your SEO plan. Cancelling your SEO plan doesn't take your site down. Hosting has its own Cancel hosting control on your site page. After cancellation, you can export the site or migrate it to another host. Email hello@scowty.com and we'll help.
Pause vs cancel
