Refund Policy

The short version, then the details.


Short version

That's the policy. Specifics below.


One-time builds

The one-time build packages (logo and brand story at $495, logo, brand, and website at $1,995, or logo, brand, website plus 3 months of SEO at $2,495) are refundable in full within 30 days of payment.

To request a refund within the 30-day window: email hello@scowty.com from your account email. Include the reason if you're willing to share it. We process refunds within 2 business days. Stripe takes another 5 to 10 business days to post the refund to your card.

After 30 days: the one-time build fee is non-refundable. You keep all assets we created (logo, brand kit, website, etc.) regardless of subscription status.

No questions, but feedback welcome. If you're refunding because something specific didn't work, telling us helps us improve. But we don't condition refunds on you giving us a reason.


Monthly subscription

Monthly subscription fees (Starter $199/mo, Growth $349/mo, Pro $499/mo) are non-refundable for the current billing period.

To cancel: ask in the chat at scowty.com/chat or email hello@scowty.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access through that period. After that, your subscription doesn't renew.

To get a partial refund of the current period: generally not. The current period was paid for, and you keep access through it. The exception is documented service failures, like extended downtime or the system not delivering the features your tier promises. Email hello@scowty.com and we'll work with you.


Annual prepay

Annual prepay saves about 17 percent compared to paying monthly. Annual subscriptions are refundable on a pro-rated basis if you cancel before the year ends. The unused months refund.

To cancel an annual subscription: same as monthly. Ask in the chat or email hello@scowty.com. We calculate the pro-rated refund and submit it to Stripe within 2 business days.


Duplicate or wrong charges

If you see a duplicate charge or a charge in the wrong amount, email hello@scowty.com immediately. We refund duplicate charges in full, immediately, no questions. We investigate wrong-amount charges and refund or credit per the actual situation.


Service failures

If Scowty fails to deliver the features your tier promises for a billing period, whether through extended downtime or a major bug affecting your account, email hello@scowty.com. We issue service credits against future invoices, sized to the failure. If you'd rather have a cash refund than a credit, say so in the same email and we'll handle it.
